A new Local Rule F-9 that became effective on Saturday September 28, 2024. This was initiated by WMGA and voted for unanimously by the WWGA board. This rule applies to Mountain View and Stony Lick and will be in effect for all play; casual, TLG and tournaments.
Modified Local Model Rule F-9: "If a player’s ball lies in the general area (excluding penalty areas) and there is interference from exposed tree roots or naturally occurring rocks and stones, such items are treated as ground under repair. The player may take free relief of this ground under repair under Rule 16.1b."
